BOSE VideoWave

BOSE have built their esteemed reputation on minimilistic and contemporary looking, sound busting gadgets over some years now. I recall replacing my trusty long standing Denon seperates system for a simple BOSE SoundDock several years ago and couldn't believe the sharpness and clarity of sound that I had obviously been missing out on for all these MP3 playing years!

Introduce if I may, the new BOSE VideoWave, bringing the awesome sound technology that BOSE have become oh so famous for, and combining it with new-age visual technology. The VideoWave system combines pictures with sound as never witnessed before, providing home cinema performance without the customary firing squad style raft of speakers here there and everywhere. This single unit with its integrated system of speakers delivers surround sound with the clarity that BOSE is renowned for. The successfully maintained minimilist approach, combining the VideoWave technology is so simple and user friendly to use also.

How frustrating does the ream of wires at the back of the TV, generic HDD recorder, DVD player etc become? Especially when one comes loose and you have to dig out the dusty manuals to find where to put it back in, the VideoWave solves this to a very large degree by keeping the simplistic theme and keeping all wires simply in one place, no mess, no fuss, no frustrations!

The new age built in speaker system means that there are no free standing speakers anywhere to situate and position to gain the best sound. All external sources, all simply connect to one console which can easily be hidden away. Another simple advancement is that all the media sources can be operated from a very simple remote control and is part of the Unify Intelligent integration system, designed to provide a more user friendly home cinematic today and when adding extra sources to the system in the future.

The stunning emotion-tweaking visuals of the 46" HD screen, in perfect combination with the BOSE home cinema audio are quite amazing to behold. The remote control unit is thumb control only, glide, select, click. anything that is controllable in this system, appears on the HD screen itself alongside whatever you are watching, meaning no more fumbling around for buttons or missing the important bits of the programme. Accessing entertainment has never been so easy!
